Does Coronavirus mean that your business needs to offer employees the ability to work from home?

Microsoft Teams - Collaborative working, wherever you are!

Microsoft Teams is an entirely new software product that makes it easy for workers in different locations to collaborate on projects and other work items. Microsoft Teams brings together people, conversations and content and provides the tools for effective team working.

Microsoft Teams allows you to message, chat, video and audio conference. People based in different locations can access, share and edit Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets in real time.

Teams is integrated with Office 365 so that users have instant access to everything they need. It provides a very flexible way of communicating within workgroups and it can be integrated with SharePoint, OneNote and Skype for Business to provide easy access to frequently used documents, websites and third party applications.

You can create separate Teams for different projects and initiatives. Just add Team members by name.

Teams comes with Office 365 Business Essentials, Business Premium, and Enterprise E1, E3 and E5. It works across Windows 10, Mac OS, Android, Windows and Apple phones.

Microsoft are convinced it will be their next flagship product for connected teamworking. Just as Windows is for computers and Outlook is for email.
